Made famous in the Seinfeld episode “The Soup Nazi”, The Original SoupMan franchise can now be found around the country. In downtown St. Louis we have our own, just a half block North of Washington Avenue, right across the corner from the Dubliner.

Owner Tracyi Brooks met the real soupman, Al Yeganeh, on one of her travels to New York City. Six months later she was the proud owner of her own ” The Original Soupman”  franchise. Besides soup, The Original SoupMan has salads, sandwiches, wraps, panini’s and smoothies on the menu.

Although we are all very happy with Culinaria downtown, let’s not forget the small business owners who were pioneers when nobody else dared to invest in downtown. Office workers, make an effort to walk another block and sample the great offerings of The Original SoupMan!

The Original Soupman is located at  612 N 11th Street. They also deliver and provide catering service.

Open Monday-Saturday 10:30 AM – 3 PM.
