HOK architects has opened a model shop in the Millennium building at 312 N 6th Street. The shop is located next door to Starbucks and opposite the street from the East entrance of Macy’s. Renovation of the Laurel building into a 212-room Embassy Suites Hotel and 205 residential apartments has commenced. The skybridge, connecting the former Dillard’s with the St. Louis Centre (also under redevelopment, see earlier post) will be completely gone by the end of June, according to the developer.
