The central stage at Kiener Plaza

The local Occupy Wall Street group, Occupy St. Louis, is in its 25th day of protest at Kiener Plaza, or “The People’s Plaza” as they’ve renamed it. The daily schedule consists of a General Assembly at 11 AM, Teach ins/forums from 4-6 PM, discussions at 7 PM  and an end of the day General Assembly at 8 PM. We counted about 40 tents around the Kiener Plaza amphitheater. The atmosphere last Saturday was laid back. Passersby were taking photographs or chatted with the protesters.
