Copia Market will be a new convenience store in the former Baseline Workshop Furniture space. After Baseline left, the previous Copia owners attempted a convenience store concept here – Washington Avenue Market – but it never opened. Construction at Copia recently picked up after most of the building was destroyed by fire on December 29th, 2007.  We had a short meeting with owner Eyad Tammas on Saturday in which he told us the reconstruction is on schedule for a December opening.
